Oben mehrere Bilder vom Dom und einer anderen Kirche in Marienwerder. Meine Vorfahren konnten zu Fuß in so 30 Minuten den Dom erreichen. Nach der Reformation war alles Evangelisch, seit 1945 aber wieder Katholisch. Hier erlebt man die schlichte elde Majestät des preußisch geprägten Glaubens. Hier ist nichts von Oberflächlichkeit zu spüren. Und das unter den herrlichen Wolken und mit den grünen Feldern rund herum. After the Reformation everything was Lutheran, but since 1945 it's all Roman Catholic again. Here you experience the simple and noble majesty of the Prussian style of faith. No phoniness here. And all this under the beautiful clouds of this region with the incredibly green fields.
